Diagnosed my first “cause of death”
My partner Cindy and I work with a cat she named Francis and by “work with,” I mean we dissect him to study his anatomy and physiology for my biology class. Well, when we first started on his digestive system, we found a lot of blood clots–more than anybody else’s cat. We couldn’t figure out why and just moved on.
Today, we worked on identifying his circulatory system and found a small, hard, round ball lodge just right outside his digestive system. Cindy and I showed it to the TA and he saw that it was a metal round ball: a metal BB. That would explain why Francis had a small hole in his side when we first examined his skin during the second lab day of the quarter. It would also explain why he had a lot of blood clotting going on. He probably died from profuse internal bleeding.

If he was shot, I hope you get to dissect the shooter.
I’D LOVE TO.
It was sad :(
